Between 52 and 57 A.D., the Apostle Paul undertook his third and most far-reaching missionary journey - a 2,700-mile odyssey that centered on two extraordinary years in Ephesus, the glittering heart of pagan Asia. Paul’s third journey (ca. 52–57 A.D.) was his longest and most intensive season of ministry—centered on a two-year stay in Ephesus, the pagan capital of Asia. From there the gospel exploded across the region, churches were planted, and Paul faced both supernatural power and fierce oppo-sition before setting his face toward Jerusalem and the suffering that awaited him.
